Did you get any puzzles for Christmas?

Postby stet » Fri Dec 26, 2008 10:14 pm

If so, what did you get? I got the following (some new, some old, some rare):

Image

From left to right, back row first:

Labyrinth 4D
Brainstring
Duo-master Masterball (out of production but can still be found at some online stores)
Geo-master Masterball (sometimes called the “Rainbow Masterball”, also out of production but not that hard to find)
Brass Treasure Chest (as recommended by others on this forum)
Trajber's Octahedron (custom built, these were never mass-produced)
Kibble Cube (vintage puzzle from the mid 80’s)
Rubik’s Fifteen (also a vintage puzzle)
Don't mess around with really dense objects like things made of neutronium and black holes. It will only end in disaster.
What is the shape of things to come?

I like it quite a bit. I did open it within a few minutes, which upset my Mom (who gave it to me). She said "it says difficulty 10, hardest on the package" and I responded with "well, it's not an Isis!" :)

I can now say, at the age of 32, I have solved my first rubiks cube!!!!!! It only took me about 3 hours

Now to see if I can do it without the seven step instruction guide ...GULP :)

I'm going to have to get one. I'm starting to think that it may be good practice for my so far failure at opening my Ramisis and Ramisi5 :)
